Jedburgh is a community and former royal burgh in the Scottish Boundaries as well as the standard county town of the historic region of Roxburghshire. Jedburgh pushes the Jed Water, a tributary of the River Teviot. It is 10 miles (16 km) from the boundary with England, as well as is controlled by the significant ruins of Jedburgh Abbey.
