Peterculter
Peterculter is a suburb of Aberdeen, Scotland, about eight miles inland from Aberdeen city centre. Peterculter gets on the northern banks of the River Dee, near the confluences with Crynoch Burn as well as Leuchar Burn. Complying with the 1996 Scottish council limit alters it entered into the City of Aberdeen's Lower Deeside ward. The latter part of the name is said to come from the Gaelic substance word "Cul-tir", which represents the "back component" of the nation.
