Nantwich is a market town and civil parish in the Borough of Cheshire East and the county of Cheshire, England. It lies on the Cheshire Plain, on the edges of the River Weaver. The Shropshire Union Canal passes through to the west of the town on an embankment, transversing the A534 by using an iron aqueduct, with the basin being a common mooring for visitors to the town.
