Rogart
Rogart is a small village in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The village was the home of Major Andrew MacDonald, that combated in the French and Indian War. It was initially a spread crofting village, till the opening of the Rogart train station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 km) to the southeast. A newer industrial village expanded after the arrival of the train in 1886, with the older village remaining. The village of Golspie is 9 miles (14 km) eastern of Rogart.
