Stocksfield
Stocksfield is a little, yet stretching traveler village positioned near the River Tyne, concerning 14 miles (23 kilometres) west of Newcastle upon Tyne in the southern part of Northumberland, England. There are a number of smaller sized neighborhoods within the parish of Stocksfield, including Branch End, New Ridley, Broomley, Hindley and the Painshawfield Estate. Various other towns in Stocksfield's postal district include Bywell, Newton, Mickley, as well as Hedley on the Hill. Stocksfield is in the parliamentary constituency of Hexham. At a local level it is regulated by Stocksfield Parish Council. On 11 January 2019 the name of the church was formally changed from "Broomley and Stocksfield" to Stocksfield, mirroring growths in the area and changes in population over the years.
