Lasswade
Lasswade is a village and also civil parish in Midlothian, Scotland, on the River North Esk, nine miles (14.5 kilometres) southern of Edinburgh city centre, between Dalkeith and Loanhead. Melville Castle exists to the north eastern. The Gaelic form is Leas Bhaid, implying the "glob at the ft." Lasswade lies within the Edinburgh Green Belt.
