Chigwell
Chigwell is a civil parish and town within the Epping Forest district of Essex. It is positioned on an outlying suburb of London, situated 12 miles (19 kilometres) north-east of Charing Cross. Together with the adjoining suburban areas of Loughton and Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell forms a part of the area referred to as the 'golden triangle' of Essex. The hamlet of Chigwell Row lies towards the east of Chigwell, close to Lambourne. This section of the parish is densely forested and predominantly rural.
