North Ferriby is a village and civil parish in the Haltemprice location of the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Ferriby parish had a population of 3,893, a boost on the 2001 UK census number of 3,819 according to the 2011 UK census. The college has around 300 students. North Ferriby is on the north bank of the Humber Estuary, around 8 miles (13 km) west of Hull city centre. To the north, atop a hillside, lies Swanland by means of the B1231. South Ferriby is straight contrary the village, on the south bank of the Humber. North Ferriby is generally referred to as "Ferriby" by locals on the north financial institution, other than where confusion could occur. Melton is close by to the west which is where the large South Hunsley School is. North Ferriby depends on the Parliamentary constituency of Haltemprice and Howden.
