Chessington

With its name which means 'hill belonging to [a man named] Cissa', Chessington is an area in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames within Greater London. Owing to its population of 18973, it's the biggest salient of Greater London into the neighbouring county of Surrey, in line with the 2011 Census. There's a Blue plaque to commemorate Enid Blyton, the author who lived at 207 Hook Road in Chessington between 1920 and 1924.
