Ascot is an affluent little town in the eastern region in the English county of Berkshire. It is positioned 6 miles (9.7 kilometres) south of Windsor, 4 miles (6.4 kilometres) east of Bracknell and 25 miles (40 km) west of London. The town comprises of three areas: Ascot itself, North Ascot and South Ascot. Based on the 2001 Census, Ascot features a permanent population of approximately 11603.
