Broadstone is a town and suburb of Poole in Dorset, England. It's positioned roughly 3 miles (4.8 kilometres) from Hamworthy railway station and 7 miles (11 km) from Bournemouth International Airport. Since 1840, it has expanded from a small farm to a suburb. In 1840, 'Broadstone Farm' was created, and a railway line bypassed it in 1847. Its first church was built in 1853, which later became the Scout hall. The first railway station was built in 1872 and named 'New Poole Junction' and, after numerous name revisions, became "Broadstone" in 1890. Broadstone First School was traditionally a Dame school, established in 1871. At the turn of the century, lavender oil started being created in the town. This came to a stop in 1935 when the factory burnt down, but a lot of lavender can nevertheless be discovered within the area. Significant growth of the town has occurred, especially with the establishment of the Pine Springs housing estate and the opening of additional schools to cope with the rise in population. As recorded in the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent resident population of about 10,303, which has risen slightly from the about 10,256 people recorded during the 2001 Census. Centred on the main road (the B3074), 'The Broadway' is a busy hub of shops, churches, schools and housing. The shops consist of both local and national chain shops, along with cafes and restaurants. Broadstone is well known for its considerable recreation fields and heathland park, as well as an annual Christmas parade and lights. The 24 acres that Broadstone Heath possesses are some of the traditional heathland which covered the Poole Basin. For all your house upgrades, be sure that you select trusted specialists in Broadstone to ensure you get the very best quality service.

There are several effective ways to clean paving slabs. It’s important to pick a method that suits you and your paving material.
Whatever method you use, start by removing all weeds and loose debris from your paving. Then, if you have a pressure washer, you can simply use this to clean away any dirt.
If you don’t have a pressure washer, you can try using soapy water or watered-down bleach. If you use soapy water, mix a mild detergent like washing up liquid with warm water. Then pour it onto your paving, work it in with a brush and rinse it off with clean water.
If you use bleach, first make sure that the water won’t drain off onto any plant life, as this can kill it. You should also avoid using bleach on concrete slabs, as it will cause them to fade. Mix one-part bleach with five-parts water, pour it onto your paving and work it in with a brush. Then leave it for 15 minutes and rinse it off with clean water.
Cleaning block paving is a fairly straightforward task, although you’ll want to be careful to not use any chemicals that may cause damage to the surface. Use a simple household soap, mixed with water, and brush this across the paving with a stiff brush. Then, simply rinse off with clean water. Alternatively, use a pressure washer – but be careful not to use it on a powerful setting, as this may damage the joints and can cause slabs to come loose. Using the pressure washer on a medium setting and at a 45 degree angle is recommended.
If your concrete driveway’s looking grubby, it’s best to try cleaning it with water and a brush, or a mild detergent. However, if this doesn’t work, it can be worth trying bleach.
Dilute your bleach down to 50% bleach and 50% water, and apply it to your driveway. Leave it for 10 minutes, then scrub it using gloves and a stiff brush. Finish by rinsing your driveway off with clean water.
It’s important to remember that bleach can stain certain surfaces and kill plants. So, if you’re concerned about materials and boarders around your driveway, it might be best to use a different type of detergent, like floor cleaner or degreaser.
While many professionals will recommend a pressure washer to clean block paving, it’s possible to clean your paving without one – just scrub the affected areas with a firm bristled brush and use plenty of soap. Then, rinse off the area with clean water.
