Cornhill-on-Tweed (population 347) is a small town as well as civil church in Northumberland, England concerning 1 mile (1.6 km) to the east of Coldstream, Scotland. The districts of West Learmouth and East Learmouth are located to the south and also west of the town respectively. A mile north-west of the village, on a spur over the River Tweed are the earthwork stays of Cornhill Castle. Cornhill-on-Tweed exists at a joint of the A697 and also A698 roads - the last linking to Berwick-upon-Tweed, the nearest substantial community, some 13 miles (21 kilometres) away.
