Penmaenmawr
Penmaenmawr is a community as well as community in Conwy Region District, Wales, which was formerly in the church of Dwygyfylchi. It is on the North Wales shore in between Conwy as well as Llanfairfechan and also was an important quarrying community, though quarrying is no more a major employer. The population of the neighborhood was 4,353 in 2011, consisting of Dwygyfylchi and also Capelulo. The community itself having a population of 2,868 (2011 ). It was called after Penmaenmawr mountain, which stands over the sea immediately west of the town. Much of its previously rounded top (with an old hill-fort) has been quarried away, leaving the present-day reduced flat top. The town was bypassed by the A55 Expressway in the 1980s, losing its old Edwardian duration boardwalk while doing so, which was mainly replaced by a contemporary one. Penmaenmawr is noted for its stunning mountain as well as coastal strolls. Close-by are the preferred attractions of Bwlch Sychnant (Sychnant Pass) and Mynydd y Dref, and also the community also lies partially within Eryri, the Snowdonia National Park.
