Lasswade
Lasswade is a village as well as civil parish in Midlothian, Scotland, on the River North Esk, nine miles (14.5 kilometres) south of Edinburgh city centre, between Dalkeith as well as Loanhead. Melville Castle lies to the north east. The Gaelic form is Leas Bhaid, meaning the "clump at the ft." Lasswade lies within the Edinburgh Green Belt.
