Llanrhystud is a Welsh beachfront village, message town and selecting department on the A487 road in the area of Ceredigion, 9 miles (14 kilometres) south of Aberystwyth. It is named after the very early Christian Welsh St Rhystyd, to whom the village Church in Wales (Anglican) church is devoted.
