Killin
Killin is a village positioned at the western head of Loch Tay in Stirling (previously Perthshire), Scotland. The west end of the town is superbly sited around the beautiful Falls of Dochart, the main street leading down in the direction of the Loch at the confluence of the rivers Dochart as well as Lochay. The drops are crossed by a narrow, multi-arched rock bridge carrying the major A827 road into Killin. Killin train station got on the Killin Railway. The railway station was formally closed on 1 November 1965. Killin has a little primary school with 56 pupils. For second education pupils take a trip to Callander 21 miles (34 km) to the south. The nearby Gaelic tool primary is in Stirling, 37 miles (60 km) to the south.
