North Ferriby
North Ferriby is a village and civil parish in the Haltemprice area of the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Ferriby parish had a population of 3,893, a rise on the 2001 UK census number of 3,819 according to the 2011 UK census. The college has around 300 pupils. North Ferriby gets on the north bank of the Humber Estuary, around 8 miles (13 kilometres) west of Hull city centre. To the north, atop a hillside, lies Swanland via the B1231. South Ferriby is directly contrary the village, on the south bank of the Humber. North Ferriby is usually referred to as "Ferriby" by locals on the north bank, other than where complication may develop. Melton is nearby to the west which is where the huge South Hunsley School is. North Ferriby lies in the Parliamentary constituency of Haltemprice and also Howden.
