Camelford
Camelford is a town as well as civil parish in north Cornwall, England, UK, located in the River Camel valley northwest of Bodmin Moor. The town is approximately 10 miles (16 kilometres) north of Bodmin and also is governed by Camelford Town Council. [3] Lanteglos-by-Camelford is the clerical parish in which the town is located (not to be confused with Lanteglos-by-Fowey). The ward population at the 2011 Census was 4,001. The Town population at the same census was 865 only. Camelford remains in the North Cornwall parliamentary constituency stood for by Scott Mann MP since 2015. Until 1974, the community was the management head office of Camelford Rural District. The two major industrial business in the location are the slate quarry at Delabole and celebrity factory at Davidstow and there is a little industrial estate at Highfield. The A39 roadway (referred to as 'Atlantic Highway') travels through the town centre: a bypass has been talked about for years. Camelford Station, some range from the town, closed in 1966; the website was ultimately utilized as a biking gallery.
