Aviemore
Aviemore is a community and traveler resort, positioned within the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. It is in the Badenoch and Strathspey board area, within the Highland council location. The community is preferred for skiing as well as various other wintertime sports, as well as for hill-walking in the Cairngorm Mountains. There are exceptional sights of the Cairngorms from various places within the town, specifically from the railway station. The Aviemore stone circle is located within a residential area of the community. Aviemore rests on the B9152 (the "old" A9 roadway considering that the main road from Inverness to Perth was restored even more west in 1980). Aviemore train station is on the Highland Main Line and also Aviemore is also the southerly terminus of the Strathspey Train, a heritage train.
