Ascot is an affluent little town in the eastern area in the English county of Berkshire. It is located 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Windsor, four miles (6.4 km) east of Bracknell and 25 miles (40 km) west of London. The town is made up of three areas: Ascot itself, North Ascot and South Ascot. As outlined by the 2001 Census, Ascot has a permanent population of around 11603.
