Tenterden
Tenterden is a community with a huge conservation area in the district of Ashford in Kent, England. It depends on the edge of the remnant woodland The Weald, overlooking the valley of the River Rother. It was a member of the Cinque Ports Confederation. Its waterfront today is not navigable to huge vessels and its status as a woollen production centre has been lost. Tenterden has a number of voluntary organisations, several of which are listed below, seven large or very old hostelries within its area as well as has cross country walking as well as biking routes within its borders.
