Pewsey
Pewsey is a big town and civil parish at the centre of the Vale of Pewsey in Wiltshire, concerning 6 miles (9.7 kilometres) south of Marlborough as well as 71 miles (114 km) west of London. It is available of the M4 motorway and the A303 and is served by Pewsey train station on the London to Taunton line. The Pewsey White Horse hill figure is located on a high slope of Pewsey Hill concerning a mile south of the town, and can be checked out from several locations in the bordering area. It was cut in 1937 and also is among the smaller Wiltshire white horses. It changes an earlier one which was potentially cut in 1785. An electoral ward in the same name exists. The ward starts in the west at Pewsey and extends eastern to Easton Royal. The complete population of the ward at the 2011 census was 4,649.
