Pencader
Pencader is a little village in the Welsh region of Carmarthenshire, and belongs to the Community as well as Parish of Llanfihangel-ar-Arth. It is located around 3 miles (5 kilometres) south-east of Llandysul and 6.5 miles (10 km) south-west of Llanybydder, in the valley of the Gwen brook, quickly before the confluence with the River Talog, to form the River Tyweli (a tributary of the Teifi). It is a silent town with bit greater than 500 residences, 2 shops, and 2 bars. Pencader's background returns a long way. For several years, it was among the primary quits on the Carmarthen - Aberystwyth rail path, and also was the joint for the service to Newcastle Emlyn; the Pencader Tunnel allowed solutions to get to Carmathen via Llanpumsaint. The decline of the railways saw the Newcastle Emlyn branch line closed in 1952 and the main line near passengers in 1965.
