Eye
Eye is a little market town in the north of the English region of Suffolk, about 4 miles (6 km) south of Diss, 17 1/2 miles (28 kilometres) north of Ipswich and 23 miles (37 km) south-west of Norwich. It lies close to the River Waveney, which develops the boundary with Norfolk, and it is on the River Dove. Eye is twinned with the community of Pouzauges in the Vendée division of France. Eye today has a population of just over 2000.
