Burgess Hill
Burgess Hill is a civil parish and a town chiefly in the Mid Sussex district of West Sussex, England, near the boundary with East Sussex, around the side of the South Downs National Park. Positioned 62 km (39 mi) south of London, 16 km (9.9 mi) north of Brighton and Hove, and 47 km (29 mi) east-northeast from the county town of Chichester, it occupies a space of 9.47 km2 (3.66 sq mi) as well as a population of 28,803 at the time of the 2001 Census, making it the most populous parish in the area. Other nearby towns include Haywards Heath to the north east and Lewes, the county town of East Sussex, to the south east.
