Rowland's Castle
Rowlands Castle is a town and civil parish in the East Hampshire area of Hampshire, England. It is 2.9 miles (4.7 km) north of Havant, on the Hampshire/West Sussex boundary. The focal point of the town is the village green which is designed somewhat like a lung. Bordered by roadways it is about 250 backyards (230 m) long and also around 40 yards (37 m) broad at its eastern end while tapering to practically a factor at the western end near the train arc. The village takes its name from a motte-and-bailey castle, the remains of which are situated to the south of Redhill Road as well as west of the train line, eastern of the existing centre of the town. It is largely a peaceful domestic town, with four pubs and also a few little shops, consisting of an equipment store as well as a neighborhood convenience store, and a population of 2,770.
