Menai Bridge
Menai Bridge is a small town as well as community on the Isle of Anglesey in north-west Wales. It forgets the Menai Strait and also lies by the Menai Suspension Bridge, integrated in 1826 by Thomas Telford, simply over the water from Bangor. With a population of 3,376, it is the 5th largest town on the island. There are numerous little islands near the town, including Church Island. The Menai Heritage Bridges Event celebrates the world-famous Menai Suspension Bridge, constructed by Thomas Telford, as well as the Britannia Bridge, constructed by Robert Stephenson.
