Rowland's Castle
Rowlands Castle is a village as well as civil church in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 2.9 miles (4.7 km) north of Havant, on the Hampshire/West Sussex boundary. The prime focus of the village is the village green which is shaped rather like a lung. Bordered by roadways it is about 250 backyards (230 m) long as well as around 40 lawns (37 m) wide at its eastern end while tapering to almost a point at the western end near the railway arc. The town takes its name from a motte-and-bailey castle, the remains of which are positioned to the south of Redhill Road and west of the railway line, eastern of the current centre of the town. It is mainly a silent residential town, with 4 pubs and also a few little shops, consisting of an equipment shop and also a regional corner store, as well as a population of 2,770.
