The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is a borough in southwest London, England. The principle town is Kingston upon Thames and it consists of Surbiton, Chessington, New Malden, Tolworth and part of Worcester Park. It's the oldest of the 4 Royal Boroughs in England. The other boroughs are Kensington and Chelsea and Greenwich also in London, and Windsor and Maidenhead. The local authority is Kingston upon Thames London Borough Council.
According to population estimates during the middle of 2014, Kingston upon Thames includes a permanent population of around 169958 inhabitants.
