Is it possible to make a strong waterproof cover (made to measure) for a garden furniture set, please?
The cost of your awning or canopy mainly depends on its size and location. It also depends on its mechanism if you go for a retractable awning â motorised ones are almost always more expensive than manual ones. The typical cost of an awning or canopy project is about £1,000, but yours could end up being more or less.

Abbots Ripton is a parish in Cambridgeshire. It is situated five miles north of Huntingdon. It has a population of just 309, and covers 4,191 acres of land. The parish is in the District of Huntingdonshire, which also includes St Ives, St Neots, Godmanchester and Ramsey.
The village is known as the site of the Abbots Ripton railway disaster in 1876, where a Flying Scotsman train crashed during a blizzard.
Abbots Ripton has a lengthy history. The Domesday book names it Riptone, and in the 11th century it was called Riptune. Moat Farm has trees as old as Shakespeare's era, and St. Andrew's church tower is around 400 years old. It encompassses a bell made in 1400 and another from 1671. The nave, aisle and porch of the church are even older, erected in the 13th century.
The village is home to a 17th-century pub, the Three Horseshoes, which was badly damaged by a fire in 2010 caused by embers in the chimney.
If you need a replacement boiler for your house in Abbots Ripton, make sure you get no less than three quotes from trusted companies before signing a contract.

If you’re considering getting an awning for the outside of your home or business, it’s vital to make sure it’s the correct size. This will help you get the right amount of shelter or shade you need, and ensure it looks great.
To get the best results, get your awning from a company who comes out to your property to measure. They’ll be experienced at doing this accurately, and will be able to add clearance distances where required. They might also be able to suggest the best designs to suit your property and needs.
A canopy is similar to an awning, but is typically bigger and freestanding. This makes them more versatile than awnings, as you can move them around to suit your needs. However, they’re not always as structurally robust as most awnings.
If you have an older canopy or have experienced a significant amount of rain recently, you might notice water pooling on your canopy. This is probably because there is some slack in your canopy, which allows water to collect instead of draining it off. See if there are places on your canopy frame where you can tighten it to keep it taught, and this should solve the problem.
A retractable awning can be a great addition to the outside of your home or business. They fold or roll neatly into a cassette, so they don’t take up space when you don’t need them. Some have articulated arms, while others have telescopic arms.
When you get an awning, you can choose between a manual and an automatic one. Manual ones have a handle or crank that you wind to fold it in and out, while automatic ones have a motor.
We can help you get more awnings and canopies work with our qualified job leads and boost your business.
