Start your projectAviemore is a community and also vacationer resort, located within the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. It remains in the Badenoch and Strathspey board location, within the Highland council area. The community is prominent for skiing and other winter season sporting activities, and for hill-walking in the Cairngorm Mountains. There are exceptional sights of the Cairngorms from different locations within the town, specifically from the train station. The Aviemore stone circle lies within a household area of the town. Aviemore rests on the B9152 (the "old" A9 roadway because the main road from Inverness to Perth was rebuilt even more west in 1980). Aviemore railway terminal is on the Highland Main Line and also Aviemore is likewise the southerly terminus of the Strathspey Railway, a heritage train.
