Your surveyor may let you know that there are certain parts of the property that are likely to contain asbestos, but they won’t do any testing. The surveyors will check the entire property for signs of asbestos. They may take samples which can be taken away for anaylsis. If they find asbestos, they will inspect its condition, what grade it is and advise you of the best course of action to take.
