Ingatestone is a village in Essex, England, with a population of around 5,000. To the immediate north exists the village of Fryerning, and with each other both form the civil church of Ingatestone as well as Fryerning. Ingatestone exists within Metropolitan Green Belt land 20 miles (32 kilometres) north-east of London. The built-up area is mainly situated between the A12 trunk road as well as the Great Eastern Main Railway Line. Today it is a wealthy traveler village. The civil church for the location is governed by Ingatestone and also Fryerning Parish Council.
