Llandovery is a market town and area in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It pushes the River Tywi and at the joint of the A40 and also A483 roads, around 25 miles (40 kilometres) north-east of Carmarthen, 27 miles (43 kilometres) north of Swansea and also 21 miles (34 km) west of Brecon. An electoral ward with the exact same name exists. This ward covers Llandovery but also extends to the north. The total ward population taken at the 2011 Census was 2,689. The neighborhood is bordered by the areas of Llanfair-ar-y-bryn, Myddfai, Llanwrda, and also Cilycwm, all remaining in Carmarthenshire. Since 2019, the mayor of Llandovery is Annabel Graham Paul. Llandovery is twinned with Pluguffan in Brittany, France.
