Aerial and satellite installation costs can differ depending on the type of aerial or satellite dish you want, how easy it is to access your roof or loft, and where you live.
If you're simply buying and setting up an indoor aerial, this won't cost you more than about £10 a little more if you need additional cables. But if you're going to install an outdoor aerial, the common cost is about £180. This is because they're trickier to set up, so lots of people hire professionals to help them.

Bo'ness, officially named Borrowstounness, is a coastal parish within the Central Lowlands of Scotland. Prior to the enactment of the local government reforms at the end of the twentieth century, it was a part of the county of West Lothian. Lying on a hillside around the south bank of the Firth of Forth within the Falkirk council area, it's 17 miles northwest of Edinburgh and 7 miles east of Falkirk. According to the 2001 Census, Bo'ness boasts a permanent population of roughly 14,000, and estimates in 2008 have suggested that it has grown to approximately 14,490 residents. The majority of the inhabitants commute to work, primarily to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Flakirk, meaning that the town is predominantly a commuter town. One of several biggest employers is the Ineos petrochemical facility, which is located by Grangemouth, close to the town. Bo'ness has a lot of attractions that are popular with nearby residents and tourists. Some examples include the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, the Birkhill Fireclay Mine and the remains of an engine house. Kinneil House, a traditional residence maintained by Historic Scotland, is situated inside a public park and the grounds in which James Watt created the steam engine. His workshop remains in ruins. The town also features a recently redeveloped Hippodrome Cinema, the oldest cinema in Scotland, built in 1912 and developed by a local architect and resident, Matthew Steele. For all your house improvements, be sure that you use vetted professionals in Bo'ness to make sure that you get the top quality service.

Satellite TV is a service that provides its customers with a wide range of TV channels by transmitting signals from a communications satellite. Users around the world can pick it up using a satellite dish mounted on their property and connected to their TV. Satellite TV is particularly useful for viewers who live out of aerial and cable TV range in remote areas.
The process you need to go through to install a TV aerial depends on the type of aerial you have. If you have an indoor aerial, it’s simple. Just plug the aerial into your TV and stand it up next to it. If the signal isn’t right, then try moving your aerial closer to a window or higher up. Make sure you rescan for channels every time you move it so you know if you’ve made an improvement. It’s also fairly easy to install a loft TV aerial – just take it up into your loft and position it in a convenient place. Again, experiment with angles and positions to ensure you get the best signal. Installing an outdoor TV aerial is a little trickier. Ideally, try to fix your aerial to a wall or chimney at a gable end – this will be much easier to access than a chimney in the middle of the roof. Follow the instructions that come with your aerial for mounting it – it’s usually best to lash your aerial on rather than use screws. If you’re not used to working at height or aren’t confident doing your own aerial installation work, it’s best to get in touch with a professional.
Not if your current aerial is in good condition and receives a good signal. If you don’t currently get a good signal, you may need to upgrade or relocate your aerial to receive HD channels or if your TV is not HD ready. You may need to upgrade your television if this is the case.
Yes, an aerial could be installed in your garden or on outbuildings. This will depend on the strength of the signal in your area. A professional aerial installation company will be able to advise you on the possible locations for an aerial on your property.
